On this date in 1979, Parlophone Records released the Paul McCartney single, “Wonderful Christmastime” / “Rudolph The Red Nosed Reggae“, in the UK.

On this date in 1987, the first 26 episodes of “Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends“, featuring Ringo Starr as the narrator, were released on home video in the UK.

On this date in 1991, Paul McCartney and a full orchestra held a dress rehearsal for Paul’s “Liverpool Oratorio“, at New York City’s Carnegie Hall.

On this date in 1995, billboards began popping up all over England to promote the upcoming “Beatles Anthology“.
