John Lennon had always claimed that Pilcher had planted illegal drugs in his flat when he was busted back in 1968. Pilcher had gained fame in the 1960s by busting several celebrities. In addition to John, he had busted George Harrison, Donovan, and Mick Jagger. All had claimed Pilcher had planted the drugs. Some like Harrison admitted to having pot in the home, but Pilcher hadn’t found the real stash.
